Jonathan Berlingeri named Professors for the Future fellows

Congratulations to Jonathan Berlingeri who will be joining this year's cohort of fellows in the UC Davis Professors for the Future program! This program recognizes graduate students for their “academic performance, leadership potential, desire to serve the needs of students and scholars and interest in participating in graduate and postdoctoral education,” and prepares them to teach and lead others as they move on. We are so excited to see what Jonny and the other program fellows will accomplish in the upcoming year!

Borlaug Scholars Announced

Four UCD graduate students, including GEMINI's own Jonathan Berlingeri, have been named Borlaug Scholars. The Borlaug Scholarship supports the attendance of promising students to the NAPB Annual Meeting, held in Hawaii in May, by pairing them with a mentor and providing them with financial support for travel, lodging, and registration expenses.
