Travel & Lodging

Travel to Davis

The closest airport to UC Davis is the Sacramento International Airport (SMF). More information on ground transportation options including shuttles and app-based services is available on their website.

Davis is also accessible by Amtrak from adjacent cities (Oakland, San Jose) with large international airports (OAK, SJC).

Within the City of Davis

For events related to the project meeting, a member of the UCD GEMINI team will be available to escort you to each meeting site. UCD vehicles will also be prepared to transport you to and from sites that are farther away.

Downtown Davis is a short walk from the UC Davis campus, and most of Davis is easily accessible via bike. Bicycles can be rented from the UCD Bike Barn on weekdays, and many local hotels will offer their own rental service.

The city can also be navigated using the university bus system.
