Betsy is the project and communications manager for GEMINI. She earned a B.S. in Genetics and a M.A. in Education from UC Davis and is thrilled to return as a member of its staff. Previously, she was a high school science teacher in Fairfield, CA where she taught physics and biotechnology. She worked closely with the California Department of Education as a Specialized Secondary Programs mentor, helping other schools around the state start career and technical education programs. Betsy also worked as an educational consultant for Meta/Oculus Education as part of Ignited, a nonprofit focused on STEM education
