Bio

My work focuses on the impact of weather and climate on crop productivity and grain quality. I am particularly interested in the development and use of process-based crop models, statistical approaches and machine learning to assess the effects of environmental stress conditions (such as heat and drought) on crop growth, development and yield. In GEMINI, I am working on the integration of 3D plant structure with crop growth, phenological progression and carbon allocation processes within the Helios modeling framework.
