Vivian Vuong is  a PhD Candidate at UC Davis in Biological Systems Engineering. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Biological Systems Engineering at UC Davis in 2017 with an emphasis in agricultural robotics and automation. She holds one patent for an automated weed control robot. Her research focuses on developing high-throughput phenotyping methods for Solanaceae crops. Her current role in GEMINI is developing a low-cost phenotyping robot that can be easily deployed for accelerating plant breeding.
